National Cadet Crops (NCC)
NATIONAL CADET CROPS (NCC)
The National Cadet Crops (NCC) started functioning in the college from 2012. One unit of NCC (Army) is opened under 13 (Odisha), Nabarangpur. The duration of the course is 3 years.
Enrolment:-
Enrollment is open to all the boys students who satisfy the standard of physical fitness. The enrolment forms can be had from the NCC officer of the College.
Camps:-
All NCC cadets are required to attend at least one ATC/D.G. organized camps and course during their tenure in NCC in order to qualify for certificate ‘B’ examination after 2nd year and with ‘B’ certificate and at least on ATC Camp, a cadet can become eligible to appear ‘C’ certificate examination in the 3rd year.
Training:-
The NCC training class commences in July. An NCC cadet is required to undergo four hours of training every week consisting of total 20 week classes in an academic year. Every cadets is getting opportunities to attend various camps like ACT, CATC, Army attachment camps, NIC, RDC, Trekking Camp, PRC Camp, etc.,

Admission Benefit:-
A cadet will get the following extra percentage at the time of admission into a college:
(a) | ‘A’ Certificate | = | 5% |
(b) | ‘B’ Certificate | = | 5% |
(c) | ‘C’ Certificate | = | 5% |
(d) | National International Camps or Course | = | 5% |
Job Benefit:-
NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate holders get extra percentage of marks for requirement to Army/Navy/Air Force/ITBP/BSR/CRPF/Coast Guard/CISF/IRB/OSAP/Odisha Police Service/Odisha Forest Service/Odisha Excise Service/Odisha Fire Service.
