National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme came into being in 1970. The scheme has two units for male students. There are two Program Officers.

N.S.S. is optional for the students.

Enrolment:-
A total no. of hundered students are to be enrolled for N.S.S. from this College.

Aims of N.S.S.:-
To promote National Consciousness and a sense of Social responsibility and to inculcate discipline and a sense of dignity of labor among students. The normal duty of students enrolled for N.S.S., shall be to undertake the project assigned to them on Sundays and other Holidays. Besides the N.S.S. students will participate in special camps where they will stay for about ten days. It will enable the students to enjoy community life. At the end of the session certificates will be issued to the students on the basis of satisfactory performance.
